Airana Grande has been unveiled as the latest star to lend their name to MAC Cosmetics’ Viva Glam campaign.
The 22-year-old singer follows in the footsteps of fellow pop stars Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj in lending her face and name to new products sold for profits benefiting the brand’s HIV and AIDS charity.
The new addition, which was announced by the brand on Tuesday, October 27, is a perfect fit for the ever cat-eyed and contoured brunette stunner.
The new face: Ariana Grande, 22, has been announced as the latest spokesperson for MAC’s Viva Glam
On offer: Ariana has lent her name to two lip products for the brand, including a deep plum lipstick and a baby pink lip gloss, proceeds from which will go to a AIDS/HIV charity
Along with lending her image to the new campaign, Ariana is promoting two new products to go on sale in stores, including a deep plum-colored lipstick in a matte finish and a shimmering baby pink lip gloss.
100 per cent of the proceeds from the Problem singer’s products will those suffering from HIV/AIDS.
‘I am beyond honored and excited to be working with a brand that stands for and always has stood for EQUALITY, [sic]’ the Scream Queens star posted on Instagram after the announcement.
Vamping it up: The collaboration is a perfect fit for the ever-made-up star, who is never seen without her on-point cat-eye
Branching out: The singer also recently guest starred on Fox series Scream Queens
‘My lipstick & gloss will be available in January and EVERY PENNY goes to people effected by HIV & AIDS,’ she added.
‘I have loved & supported @maccosmetics ever since I was a little girl walking through the mall and saw your first #VIVAGLAM girl in the window @rupaulofficial. I’m so honored!!!’
RuPaul was the first Viva Glam spokeswoman for the brand, but was followed by many of the top made-up pop goddesses in the business, including Miley Cyrus, who lent her name to a bright and bold pair of pink lip colors last year, and Rihanna who starred in a topless shoot for the campaign earlier in 2014 promoting deep red lip colors.
Bright and bold: Miley Cyrus was named spokesperson for the brand in October last year, promoting two bright pink lip colors
Bring green: Rihanna, who has had several products made with the brand, starred as the face of Viva Glam in February 2014
The products aren’t the first foray into the beauty business by Ariana, as she recently released her own scent, ARI by Ariana Grande.
Explaining her fragrance on Good Morning America just before the official launch of the perfume in September, the star described the scent as ‘really sweet and yummy.’
She added: ‘I’m fairly new to the fragrance industry. But, it’s really sweet, there’s a little bit of marshmallow and a little bit of raspberry.’
It’s been a great few weeks for the singer, who was also recently nominated for  Favorite Female Artist in the pop/rock category and Artist of the Year for the upcoming American Music Awards
